Marie-France & Patricia collected lace and doilies from antique stores and flea markets. They then reworked them into a series of sexual objects.

With a build-up of threads and embroidery, they painstakingly sculpted each doily to incorporate breasts, penises and vulvas giving the innocent and decorative surface a new dangerous identity. From the lace-maker to the fantasy maker: they gave beauty and poetry to unexpected parts of our bodies!
