Filmed off the coast of Nova Scotia, this large scale projection consists of a 3/4 scale house, Gothic Revival style, as it floats then sinks on the Atlantic Ocean. The sound consists of six channels of composed oceanic and domestic sounds emanating from 4 speakers.
As with the other installations in this series, the work comes out of the artist’s research into the non-culpable (sic) murder of a woman forty years ago.
